Lorne "RED" Hunter 1941 - 2010 Please be advised that former Local Union No. 771 Member, Lorne "Red" Hunter, passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2010. At Lorne's request there will be no funeral services. Our condolences go out to Red's family and friends. |

Iron Workers, Local 771 welcomes our newest contractor, Harris Rebar, operating under the name VSL-Canada. VSL is currently working on several projects in and around the Regina area. |

Welder Testing at Union Hall As of Saturday, February 21, 2009, CWB Welder Testing is now available at the Local 771 Union Hall. Our first group of welders tested on February 21st, they included; Terry Warren, Joe Gumulcak, Les Pichette, Norman Fandrich, Mike Lans, Al Perkins, Steve Hagerty, Leo Johnson, Kelvin Nernberg, Patrick Irvine and Dean Rochon (765). Also shown in the photo, CWB inspector, Phil Sutyla. All future CWB Welder testing will be held at the Local Union Hall, 1138 Dewdney Ave. E. Regina, SK. Hats off to Wayne Worrall Jr. for a job well done on getting the shop completed. |

Local 771 President, Colin Daniels, has appointed the following members to fill the Local Union Officer Vacancies. They are as follows: Executive Committee: Ryan Tappin Trustees: Blair Barilla and Elmer Olson Conductor: Norman Fandrich Examining Commitee: Jeremy Lacasse The General Secretaries office has approved these appointments. |
